One voice, one Afro and one story-Mo'Mot marks the return of vinyls to digital platforms,with the aim of breathing new life into Francophone music. In November 2024, Mo'Mot won the prestigious CokeStudio Soundcheck competition during its 20th anniversary edition. She’s the first female artist from the french speaking part of Switzerland to do so. This contest is the most established platform for Newcomer-Artists in Switzerland and helped many artists (e.g 77 Bombay Street, Benjamin Amaru, Pedestrians) to make their breakthrough.
Mo'Mot has already gained experience on stage as a backing vocalist alongside Stress at his legendary MTV Unplugged Tour in over 20shows. This summer 2025, she is performing her own shows in renowned festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival or Seaside in Spiez.
Mo'Mot is not only a talented singer, but also has a flair for bold rhythms, cinematic sounds and a natural joie de vivre, which she combines with meaningful lyrics. This is exactly what makes her an interesting artist. In 2019, she started focusing on songwriting and composition. She since released several independent projects, including“Pré-face” and “Réminiscence” that are a tribute to the 1970s and to Mo'Mot's first steps in music. Between solo performances and high-profile collaborations, Mo'Mot is making her mark with a signature style: vibrant and sincere music that takes the audience on a journey where past and future meet.
